Administration Officer

  • Reports To: Finance & Technology Director
  • Location: Melbourne (Flinders Lane)
  • Employment Type: Part Time, 0.6 FTE (22.8 hours) over 4 or 5 days. Two year contract.

The Administration Officer ensures that the general operations of Teach For Australia run smoothly, by effectively managing services and supplies, providing administrative support to Finance and other internal functions, and maintaining key office reference documentation and systems. He/she is also the key point of contact for visitors to the office, providing reception and administrative duties. Furthermore, the role facilitates OH&S responsibilities under the guidance of the OH&S Manager.

About You

You will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, and

  • take pride in your work and be passionate about supporting a diverse team,
  • enjoy engaging with people to achieve business outcomes,
  • have the ability to handle a busy and varied portfolio, by being highly organised and proactive,
  • can build effective relationships, both internally and externally, to achieve high-quality outcomes.
