Leadership Development and our Alumni Network
Over the two-year program our Associates are unified in focus: addressing education inequality, class-by-class, student-by-student. Beyond the program, our Alumni go on to have significant impact across a broad range of sectors; whether it's by continuing as a classroom teacher, taking leadership roles in schools or businesses, moving into academia and contributing to pioneering research, or shaping policy in government and think-tanks.
Through mentorship, education and ongoing support from our leading university, corporate and public sector partners, we help our Associates to identify where they want to make a difference and give them opportunities for exposure, advice and skill development to help them move into these sectors.
Our strong links to top graduate employers in the private and public sectors ensure that we know what organisations are looking for in their recruits and they know how valuable Teach For Australia is as a personal and professional development opportunity. The problem solving, communication, people management and strategic planning skills mastered in the classroom are sought after by employers in all sectors.
Our Alumni network forms a movement of leaders: highly competent, passionate, socially-conscious people, who share a powerful common experience. Around the world, this has become a critical network of support, learning, opportunities and impact, for over 20,000 leaders who call themselves Alumni. Take a look at some of their stories from around the world.
