The current Future Leaders Program pilot, funded by the Federal Government, will conclude at the end of 2024.
The program is currently not accepting new applications.
In the four years of the pilot program, over 200 emerging leaders have undertaken the program, across WA, the NT, QLD and NSW. FLP Fellows teach in primary, secondary and combined settings, and the program’s impact is something to be celebrated by all at Teach For Australia.
The Future Leaders Program is a one-year professional development program specifically designed for teachers working in outer regional and remote schools facing systemic disadvantage, preparing educators for the next step in their career: the challenging and rewarding role of school leadership.

The FLP was evaluated by external evaluators dandolopartners and the final evaluation report has been recently published on the Federal Department of Education’s website.
