Media And External Affairs Manager

This role takes on senior managerial responsibilities for delivery of impactful, high-quality representation of Teach for Australia to external stakeholders and media audiences.

  • Develop and implement TFA media strategies
  • Lead media engagement

About the Position

The purpose of the Payroll Officer is to manage and execute Teach For Australia’s (TFA) staff payroll accurately and on time for each reporting period. This includes the calculation, payment and reporting of net pay, PAYG, superannuation plus leave management.

  • This is a Full-time role (Parental leave cover) until December 2024

Essential

  • Experience administering Netsuite and Infinet Cloud payroll systems
  • Good understanding of Australian payroll requirements, individual taxation, and regulatory obligations requirements, including PAYG, FBT, superannuation and legislative leave requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a payroll function
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong administrative, time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to be tactful with sensitive matters and retain confidentiality.

About the Position

This role is responsible for supporting the communications and administration of the Future Leaders Program (FLP), as well as supporting delivery of the program, including selection of participants, logistical coordination of program delivery and events.

Associate

Teach For Australia’s Leadership Development Program
  • Employment type: Full time
  • Applications open in February of each year

About the position

We believe that to achieve systemic change, inspirational leaders are needed in schools, communities, business and government. Through the Leadership Development Program, we recruit outstanding individuals with academic expertise as well as a range of skills and experience to become ‘Associates’ who commit to teach in an educationally disadvantaged school for at least two years.

By the end of the program, you will have earned a nationally accredited Master of Teaching (Secondary) (Professional Practice) degree on scholarship, all the while earning a full salary and benefits for the duration of the program. Learn more about the program here.
