Partnership and Events Coordinator

About the Position

Foster strong and innovative relationships with corporate partners to deliver on our Partnerships Strategy. Work across teams to coordinate and track partnership agreements, implementation, targets and related metrics. Assume responsibility for partnership stakeholder management, coordination and administration, including event planning and implementation. This role will drive partnership success at an organisational level, ensuring we engage with existing partners in a proactive and intentional manner – representing the TFA vision, mission, programs and impact – while supporting the development of new partnership opportunities.

Please Note: This role has flexibility for the candidates to be located anywhere in Australia.

About You

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a customer service and administrative role
  • Proven successful stakeholder management experience, good communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in managing and mitigating reputational risks
  • Demonstrated experience in events planning or marketing
  • Understanding of TFA and its mission

About the Position

This role is responsible for the leading the communications for the Future Leaders Program, as well as supporting delivery and evaluation of the program, including selection of participants, logistical coordination of program delivery and events.

The FLP is a pilot program, now in its third year, funded by the Commonwealth Department of Education.  It tests a new approach to strengthening the school leadership pipeline in RRR schools in Australia. The program focuses on equipping high achieving teachers with the skills, knowledge and experience to support the growth of the pipeline of ready leaders to transition to higher leadership roles in communities that need them the most.

About the position

We believe that to achieve systemic change, inspirational leaders are needed in schools, communities, business and government. Through the Leadership Development Program, we recruit outstanding individuals with academic expertise as well as a range of skills and experience to become ‘Associates’ who commit to teach in an educationally disadvantaged school for at least two years.

By the end of the program, you will have earned a nationally accredited Master of Teaching (Secondary) (Professional Practice) degree on scholarship, all the while earning a full salary and benefits for the duration of the program. Learn more about the program here.
