Senior Recruitment Manager – Career Changers

After graduating from University I started a 10 year career in hotel management which unlocked my passion for speaking and working with people from all different backgrounds
Relocated to London where I first encountered the Teach for All network, it was this experience that made me realise I wanted to work within the not for profit sector to find great people with the shared passion of making a difference in what they do
Have been with TFA since 2020 and now manage the Victorian recruitment team. My favourite part of the role is supporting our Incoming Associates through their placement journey, building relationships is something I really value and find joy in
I am an avid runner and enjoy getting out to explore all of what Victoria has to offer.

Bachelor of Arts: Double Major in Psychology and Sociology from UniMelb, and MSc in Social, Health and Organisational Psychology from the University of Utrecht
Career highlights include public policy work for AITSL, consulting at the Netherlands Institute of Mental Health and Addiction, and leading the design and development of well known mental health and wellbeing apps across Australia and New Zealand
Incredibly passionate about mental health and wellbeing, educational equity, women’s rights and environmental sustainability. I believe that all we can do is place our one grain of sand on the side of the scales of humanity that we believe in, and inspire those around us to do the same
I have an innate sense of curiosity about the world and the diversity of people and cultures in it, which has seen me travel across 40 countries in the last 10 years. Fittingly, my insatiable inner gypsy has now led me back to Byron Bay, where she fits in perfectly

Mentored with AIME – an organisation addressing the disproportionate educational inequity experienced by Indigenous kids. She is driven to work with TFA and its Reconciliation Action Plan, to address this systemic issue and ensure that every child has access to the education they deserve and thus equal opportunity
