Patrick Chin-Dahler

Patrick Chin-Dahler (Cohort 2014) is the Director of Teaching and Learning at Girton Grammar School in Bendigo. In this role he oversees the curriculum and staff for Years 7 to 12.

Prior to joining Girton he helped establish the VCE in the Northern Territory as the inaugural VCE coordinator and was the Deputy Head of Boarding at Australia’s largest boarding school for Indigenous students, Haileybury Rendall School. Patrick began his teaching with Teach for Australia at Koo Wee Rup Secondary College in 2014, which he firmly believes helped him better understand young people and run engaging and rigorous lessons.

Before moving into teaching, Patrick was an advisor at the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, primarily focused on national security, Cabinet and governance issues.
