Pi Lee

Pi Lee (Cohort 2019) teaches Psychology, Health, History, Literacy and World Cultures in the Northern Territory. Before applying to Leadership Development Program and joining Teach For Australia’s mission for educational equity, Pi worked in public health promotion in Canberra, teaching comprehensive consent and healthy relationships education.

In 2020, her final year of the program, Pi was a finalist for her school’s “Telationship” Award (teacher-student relationships), and awarded the 2020 Rookie Teacher award – presented to a teacher with less than 3 years teaching experience who has built strong relationships and models the values of the school’s motto, “To Seek, To Strive, To Care”.

Pi has taken full time position and is continuing to teach at her placement school, St Philips College, in 2021.
