Selection and Onboarding Officer

Provide high-level administrative support across the selection and onboarding journey that enables a talented and diverse pipeline of individuals to join Teach For Australia’s Leadership Development Program, ultimately resulting in placement in one of the communities we serve.

About the position

About the position

As a Recruitment and Advocacy Manager, you will source, compel and support talented and diverse individuals to apply to Teach For Australia’s Leadership Development Program.

About You

This role is for you if you’re excited to source, attract and compel talent with great leadership potential to apply to our program. Alongside your relevant work experience, you’ll love nothing more than developing relationships with a variety of key stakeholders and leading a local recruitment strategy to ensure that Teach For Australia’s attraction campaign is executed to a high level. We’re looking for:

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Ability to influence, inspire and motivate people, and to quickly develop relationships with potential
    recruits and other individuals

About the position

We believe that to achieve systemic change, inspirational leaders are needed in schools, communities, business and government. Through the Leadership Development Program, we recruit outstanding individuals with academic expertise as well as a range of skills and experience to become ‘Associates’ who commit to teach in an educationally disadvantaged school for at least two years.

By the end of the program, you will have earned a nationally accredited Master of Teaching (Secondary) (Professional Practice) degree on scholarship, all the while earning a full salary and benefits for the duration of the program. Learn more about the program here.
