Since 2020, IG Group has supported us to place passionate individuals into classrooms through our Leadership Development Program (LDP).
Unlike traditional teaching pathways, our employment-based program enables participants to earn a wage while completing a Master of Secondary Teaching. IG Group’s support is critical to our model. Teachers receive coaching, academic assistance and wellbeing services throughout their journey. Their investment enables talented career changers and graduates to enter the profession and strengthen outcomes in schools serving low socioeconomic communities.
Further, in 2023, IG Group donated to one of our partner schools, Tennant Creek High School in the Northern Territory. The donation improved student access to digital learning tools in a remote school setting.
Established in 1974, IG Group is a global fintech company delivering online trading platforms and educational resources to support retail and institutional clients. IG Group has pledged the equivalent of 1% of the financial year’s post-tax profits to charitable causes. These contributions aim to empower through education, with a focus on financial literacy, as well as science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects.
Teacher impact: Ellie Robinson

Originally from regional Western Australia, Ellie joined the Leadership Development Program in 2025 and relocated to the Pilbara to teach in a remote community.
After a career in marketing, Ellie sought a pathway that allowed her to teach media arts while receiving structured support.
“I did not want to move back to Perth and start over. With Teach For Australia, I could stay regional, be paid and be part of a strong support network,” she said.
Now teaching in a school with a high First Nations student population, Ellie focuses on building safe and inclusive learning environments for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
“If I can help one student feel safe, seen and excited to come to class, that is success for me.”
