The Teach On Fellowship is a live and online leadership acceleration program built for educators like you: people who see what’s possible for their students and are ready to lead the way there. Practical, flexible and grounded in educational equity.
Through three flexible modules, you’ll learn how to:
- Drive meaningful improvement by leading with self‑awareness, courage and clarity.
- Confidently lead teams and engage in courageous conversations.
- Cultivate inclusive, high‑trust cultures.
- Implement continuous improvement and influence systems for sustained impact.
02 Flexible learning for busy educators
Choose one module, or choose all three – the Teach On Fellowship is designed to be practical, manageable and immediately applicable to your day-to-day experiences in the classroom and school environment.
The Fellowship consists of three modules:
- Leading self: Grow self-awareness, resilience decision-making and leadership presence needed to lead in dynamic school environments
- Leading relationships Cultivate inclusive, high‑trust cultures that strengthen belonging, collaboration, and psychological safety
- Systems change: Influence systems for sustained impact, translating vision, evidence, and strategy into continuous improvement and lasting change.
Each module consists of four live online sessions.
03 Eligibility and price
The Teach On Fellowship has been specifically designed for:
- Teach For Australia Alumni and/or educators in partner schools
- Emerging middle leaders
- Teachers ready for their next challenge
- Educators in regional, rural, remote or equity-focused communities
Pricing:
- $197 per module or $549 for all three
04 What you’ll learn
The Teach On Fellowship is made up of three standalone modules. You can enrol in one, two, or complete all three to earn the fellowship.
Each module includes 4 × 90‑minute live online sessions.
Session dates for modules 2 and 3 to be confirmed. Recordings will be made available for participants who can’t attend live. Allow up to 2 hours per fortnight to include sessions and prework.
Module 1: Leading Self (Term 3, 2026)
- Build self‑awareness, resilience and emotional intelligence to sustain yourself as a leader and maximise your impact in schools.
- You will:
- Understand your leadership identity, values and how you show up under pressure
- Lead with emotional intelligence to navigate relationships and challenge
- Build the wellbeing and resilience needed for sustainable, long‑term leadership impact
Session Dates:
All sessions are at 7pm AEST on the following dates:
- 30 July
- 13 August
- 27 August
- 10 September
Module 2: Leading Relationships and Culture (Term 4, 2026)
- Develop practical strategies to foster belonging, trust and psychological safety within teams and school communities.
- You will:
- Create culturally safe environments that honour identity, voice and lived experience
- Build relational trust to lead teams through complexity and change
- Communicate with clarity and care, using feedback to support growth
- Lead inclusive school cultures

Module 3: Leading Systems and Improvement (Term 1, 2027)
- Strengthen your ability to influence systems and lead sustainable improvement beyond individual practice.
- You will:
- Use data and evidence to inform decisions that improve outcomes for students and communities
- Lead strategic planning processes that turn vision into achievable action
- Develop and communicate a shared vision that inspires coherence and commitment
- Apply improvement science to test, refine and scale effective practices

How do I know that I’m eligible?
This program is available to:
- Alumni of Teach for Australia’s LDP Leadership Development Program
- Educators currently working at Teach For Australia partner schools

How much time do I need to allow to attend?
We’ve intentionally designed the program to be manageable alongside full-time teaching responsibilities.
Participants should expect to commit:
- 90 minutes per fortnight for live sessions
- Up to 30 minutes of preparation between sessions
How are the sessions delivered?
All sessions are delivered live via Zoom by an experienced facilitator. You will receive access links and joining instructions prior to each session.
What happens if I can’t attend a session?
We understand that schedules can be unpredictable. All sessions are recorded and recordings will be made available shortly after each session.
You can catch up at a time that suits you.
Is there any homework between sessions?
Between sessions, participants may be asked to:
- Reflect on key concepts
- Complete light preparation tasks
These activities are designed to take no more than 30 minutes and to directly support your leadership development.
What is the refund policy?
You can receive a full refund up to 7 days before the program start date.
After this, no refunds will be available, except in exceptional circumstances – e.g. serious illness.
What if I miss multiple sessions?
You can access all session recordings, but we strongly encourage live attendance wherever possible to:
- Engage in discussions
- Build connections with peers
- Maximise your learning experience
Will I receive a certificate or recognition?
Yes, participants who meet engagement expectations (attendance or completion of recordings and tasks) will receive a certificate of completion.
How interactive is the program?
Sessions are highly interactive and may include:
- Discussion and reflection
- Collaborative activities
- Practical application of leadership strategies
