Our work and impact

We work with teachers in regional, rural and remote schools through our Future Leaders Program. Interested teachers and schools are encouraged to contact us about this exciting opportunity to develop and retain future leaders.

We accept applications from the ACT; recent graduates, young professionals and career changers for our flagship Leadership Development Program. Applicants will have the opportunity to be placed across the nation. We do not currently offer school placements in the program within the ACT.

Educational inequity in the ACT

In the ACT, single postcodes often experience both high and low rankings on different indicators. Unlike other locations around the country, the ACT has one of the highest proportions of diverse suburbs, with individuals of varying socioeconomic status living side by side.

Research shows that in the ACT, 1 in 3 students whose parents didn’t finish Year 12 do not meet national Year 7 academic milestones for literacy and numeracy. If their parents have a Bachelor’s degree or higher however, that number drops to 1 in 10.
